OBJECTIVES OF ORGANIZATION
The main Objectives of the Organization is to work for the overall development of the Deprived and Disadvantaged communities with a focus on Social Development of unorganized sector, irrespective of casts, creed and religion so that they may contribute positively and become part of development process.
NOTS Motto being Divine and Humanitarian service, its Aims are:-
- To work for Empowering People of the Unorganized sector and Building their capacities by providing Capacity Building Trainings, information and knowledge regarding local self governance.
- To work for agriculture & rural development, Rural Livelihood & Empowerment.
- To work on Economic and Social problems of the poor and Underprivileged persons, particularly women, by organizing them into community based groups,
- To mobilize women through training, networking and by providing institutional support.
- To mobilize Farmers and upgrade them with technical & market support.
- To provide Education in Marginalized Sections through Formal and innovative Non Formal Programmes.
- To provide Heath service facilities and health and family life education to the poor and marginalized sections of the society.
- To increase Awareness on Environmental Issues and to work for Environment Conservation
- To sensitize, raise the level of awareness of legal rights amongst the poor and crate a cadre of Para-legal workers.
- To Establish a Culture of Humanism though promotion of Social Justice and to secure entitlements for deprived sections of society through public interest litigation and advocacy
- Imparting training in all the fields to achieve self-sufficiency by doing vocational training courses
- Educating people of rural areas on non-conventional sources of energy
- Identify suitable projects and implement the same to bring in unemployed youths and adolescents so as to ensure that their potential is gainfully utilized to generate income and give new meaning to their life and dependent families.
- Bringing out Information Education and Communication materials as to create awareness in rural areas
- Opening, strengthening and boosting the Gram Udyog in Rural Areas.
